Learning to swim isn’t just about learning the different strokes but about learning to self rescue. We feel the self rescue aspect of swimming is so important that we make sure each pupil is taught this essential skill before learning to swim.
Swimming is a life skill and a skill for life.
Our lessons take place WITHOUT flotation equipment such as armbands, fins or life jackets. Our pupils are taught first and foremost how to float. This ensures you or your child are equipped with the survival skills required to safely enjoy the water. Once a child / adult achieves this they can then go on to become strong confident swimmers and strong confident individuals
Small class sizes to ensure rapid progress and engaging, fun lessons for all abilities
No busy public pools, perfect for nervous, shy or low confidence swimmers
In water teachers allowing for increased safety and improved teaching

With complete non-swimmers we carry out 1-2-1 lessons until we feel they would benefit from a group lesson. Our aim is to make every child and adult we teach understand water safety and buoyancy. Once a pupil achieves this they can then move forward with their swimming technique.
We run intensive swimming courses during many of the school holidays. These involve one lesson per day over a four to five day period – a great way to make quick progress and really boost water confidence.
We provide lessons for Babies, Children and Adults of all abilities. Our classes are designed to help all our pupils reach their full potential in the water
